Tanya Clarke’s Liquid Lights

California-based designer Tanya Clarke is the daughter of environmental activist Tony Clarke, the author of Blue Gold: The Fight to Stop the Corporate Theft of the World’s Water. Tanya’s own contribution to water awareness is Liquid Light - Industrial Light Installations, a series of custom-built fixtures that “create a visual reminder fo the precious commodity that water is and our need to protect this natural resource.” They’re made from recycled plumbing and hardware and illuminated with LEDs, and a portion of their sales goes towards global water education, action and justice issues.

Classic Silhouette Wood Coasters

With this set of 4 wooden coasters you can be sure to add a little bit of fancy under that refreshing drink. And maybe even spruce up your table and home.

The hand drawn silhouettes have been cut from the wood and the fancy ornate frame was engraved into the surface of the wood. The coasters have been laser cut from Colour Rimu wood, that has been hand rubbed with tung oil to protect them from water damage. Easy to clean, just wipe with soap and water.

When It Rains, It Pours

Designed by the Quirky Community in just 24 hours, Petal Drops is a flower shaped funnel that fits on top of standard threaded water & soda bottles providing you with a chance to elegantly and easily capture rain water, and repurpose it for watering your plants. Rainy days may not seem so bad anymore!

Constructed out of 100% recycled HDPE, Petal Drops’ beautiful form and flower shape makes it something you would not mind placing in your garden or on your patio - it may even blend right in! Simply set it down in your desired location and place some pebbles or pennies in the bottle if it’s a particularly windy day. Once it starts to rain, you’ll watch as the petals act as a super funnel — collecting & storing rain water efficiently in that bottle you were o-so-close to chucking.

Once full, pour out the water wherever you choose… feed that thirsty plant, wash the chalk off your driveway, give fido a bath, etc. As ‘they’ say… every little bit counts.
